I have decided to revive my blog. I have a lot of things to say and even if no one reads this at least I can post my thoughts to the world. I will do my best to be nonpolitical. I am a proud American, a loving wife, daughter and sister, I have faith in G-d, and I am a moral personal. These things I cannot change and will not be PC about.
Readers please understand that this blog is not about politics. Whether you are Republican, Conservative, Liberal,Democrat, Libertarian or whatever you are you cannot ignore what is going on in the world, the US and in your community. The American Dream has been distorted and changed into a monster that is out of control.
I agree, as I think anyone does, that everyone deserves to live their life to the fullest. They should have access to food, shelter, health and safety. I do not agree that we should be spending more than we have. We are creating a stressed out workforce forcing mothers and fathers to be away from their families, and solving problems with quick fixes in order to sustain this way of life.
Throwing money and empty promises at our problems is not going to fix them. It will only and has only made things worse. We are standing at a crossroads. We can either continue to ignore our problems and economic issues or we can start preparing for them. I am not just talking about our government I am talk about us, you and I. We need to batten down the hatches people, prepare ourselves, our home and our families mentally, physically and economically for the future.
It does not matter whether you think the future will be wine and roses or the TEOTWAWKI (The end of the world as we know it) there are many things that we can do on a personal level to survive, and actually LIVE! When I say live I mean really LIVE life, be free to enjoy it, be prepared so that we are not beholden to fast food, television, convenience foods, pharmaceuticals, or politicians. Have pride in family, community and country.
I don’t mean cutting yourself off from the rest of the world. I mean participating, being a part of a family, community, country and a world. I mean support for yourself, your fellow-man, your earth. You can be a conservationist whether or not you believe in climate change. You can be frugal whether you make $25,000 or $250,000 a year. You can volunteer and help the community, the less fortunate, the addicted whether or not you believe in welfare. The basic fundamentals of humanity know no bounds of party, religion, politics, or economics. Not everyone can donate a million dollars to a cause, but everyone can do something to support their community. Even if it just means you give to your church, buy an apple at a local orchard or return your bottles. You certainly do not have to do everything that I mention in this blog. You may discover other ideas that I don’t even talk about. You may disagree with some things I find important. I don’t care if you agree with everything or not. I just want you to wake up and actually see what is going on around you. Participate in your life, instead of having your life, your country, your society and world RUN you.
